Gina Ferrari / USA · Sculpture, Video Stills Power, vulnerability, decay, and beauty play themselves out in the pastoral and urban landscapes. These elements are visible on the surface of everyday objects and in the performance of daily routines. Within these routines, beauty and decay are intertwined. Such opposing and complementary forces dissolve into, raise, and renew one another, illuminating the complexity of a landscape that deceives the hasty glance.

Ferrari’s work has been exhibited in Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York. She received her MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University. Ferrari received a residency from the Rockefeller Foundation, Radcliffe Fellowship from the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University, and a Pollock-Krasner Foundation grant.
