Artist Statement:
Pat Wasserboehr's abstract sculptures evoke gesture, calligraphy, and anatomical shapes, and at other times suggest mysterious ancient objects.  As a professor at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro her career as a sculptor has been long, serious, and distinguished. Yet any description of her sculpture would be incomplete without mentioning its faint trace of humor, a subtle playfulness, and whimsy.
